Donald Fagen Biography
Donald Fagen (born January 10, 1948 in Passaic, New Jersey) is one half of the rock duo Steely Dan.

After the group's 1981 breakup, Fagen released his solo debut album, The Nightfly (1982), which has been favorably compared to his Steely Dan work. He wrote briefly for Premiere magazine and toured with the New York Rock & Soul Revue but didn't release another album until 1993. Kamakiriad was produced by Steely Dan partner Walter Becker. They reunited to tour as Steely Dan again and the following year Fagen produced Becker's solo debut, 11 Tracks of Whack.
